Zombie Frontier 3 (An Action FPS Game in Android Playstore)

Zombie Frontier 3 (An Action FPS Game in Android Playstore)
Hello Readers! Thank you for visiting my blog. 2 days back, I was looking for a game to play and as I was browsing through the top new free section for game apps, I noticed the Zombie Frontier 3. I thought to myself, “Everybody are crazy over zombie apocalypse right now”. Well of course they are!
With TV series like Walking Dead, not only teenage boys find themselves a game similar to the show but adults too!
Walking Dead
With movies like Warm Bodies, a movie that depicts a zombie’s life from a zombie’s perspective, I’m not surprised if I happen to see a girl killing zombies in their phone.
Warm Bodies
Zombie Frontier 3 is developed by FT Games. I have been playing the game for 2 days now and I can see myself playing it for quite some time! So here’s a review of the app!
Zombie Icon
I will review this game based on 4 criteria: User InterfaceGameplayWeapons and In-App purchases. Lastly I will also discuss the cons of this game. So, let’s start with the UI first!
1) User-Interface
Like most game apps, as you load up the game, you will be greeted by a daily reward event that gives you gold and weapons if you are actively logging in. Although this application might look hard to navigate through for some due to it having quite a number of buttons and activities going on the screen, the app tackles this well by providing a short tutorial if you are loading it for the first time. (Example, the tutorial shows clearly where the shop button is and how to upgrade your weapons.)
Daily Reward
2) Gameplay
Zombie Frontier 3 is an energy based game and you are required to have a specific amount of energy in order to play the missions. For a regular mission, 1 energy is required while a boss mission requires 2. The energy will refill by 1 every 10 min. There are quite a number of ways for you to refill your energy bar such as by watching a video ad or levelling up.
energy
The gameplay in this game is straightforward. Basically there will be 5 buttons (1 joystick) when you start the mission.
The joystick (will appear once your phone sensor detects your finger) allows you to move the aiming cursor in an 8-way direction and next to it will be a button that allows you to swap between your weapons.
The right side of the screen will have the standard shoot button follow by the target and reload button.
The target button allows you to zoom in to get a good shot of the zombie and aim for a headshot.
The shoot button allows you to continuously fire at the target if you press and hold it.
The good thing about this game is that it does not requires you to move around as the mission automatically walks you to the next point.
Joystick
3) Weapons
This game certainly does not lose out in the variety of weapons they have! Ranging from pistols to sniper rifles, it can all be bought from the weapon shop at a price depending on the weapon strength.
Weapons
Like most shooting games, this game offers the upgrade function for the weapons that are purchased. One of the things that make this game stand out from most games is that it offers different types of upgrades. The stock, muzzle, bullet, body, scope and clip. This makes it more realistic as these attributes contribute to the effectiveness of a real life weapon.
Weapon upgrades
4) In-App purchases
Most games surely have an In-App purchase available for the user. Developers have to earn money for their hard work too right? One of the features available in the In-App purchase would be the weapon shop. User will have the choice to purchase those strong weapons using gems which are bought through real money.
Capture
Well, for those that do not wish to use real money for a game, do not worry as there are more than 1 ways to earn free gems. You still have the opportunity to own these weapons via viewing a video or completing an offer. (You can gain gems through levelling and rewards too)
When you view a video you can earn a gem.
Capture2
You can also complete an offer to gain gems. Completing an offer gains you more gems!
Complete offer
5) The cons
I think most users will feel the same way as I do. Viewing of video ads gives too little gems! For a video that is at least 15 seconds, 1 gem is definitely not enough. The best pistol cost 840 gems and for users that do not wish to use real money, it will require them to watch 840 videos in order to purchase the weapon. Not everyone has the time to view the video ads and this does not take into account of battery usage.
Another thing I find the Developer will need to improve is the energy bar. Having 8 bars are definitely not enough as 1 mission requires 1 energy. Although you can gain 1 energy from watching a video ad, not everyone wants to watch 1 each time to continue playing.
Conclusion
Zombie Frontier 3 is a fun shooting game to have for those that love horror and are looking forward to kill zombies. The graphics and suspense is also quite impressive. “Wah! What a game!” I give this game a 4.5 star (Would have given 5 if the developer improve the problems I discussed in the cons section) and I recommend this game for people that prefers straightforward shoot and kill games instead of the complicated ones. I can see myself playing it for a long time. Thank you FT Games for developing this app
There are still a lot of things about this game that I do not discuss here such as items like grenades and first-aids. To find out more you can download the game by clicking the link below!

Importance of Water

Water Your Body App definitely offers a great reminder of that!
Do you always feel tired or maybe having a headache and feel like taking a nap during the day? I’m sure many of us feel that way all the time. Many a times this could be the first sign of dehydration where the tissues and cells are not getting enough water for a person to feel like doing anything. A lot of us tend to neglect drinking water as we are too occupied with our daily work or activities.
The good thing is, the Android Playstore has an app developed by NorthPark.Android named Water Your Body to act as a reminder for us to drink water daily. Although this is not a game app, i find myself using it often too! So here’s a review of the app!
I will review this application based on 2 criteria:
1. User friendliness
This application is simple and easy to use. As the screen loads up, the home screen shows the target amount of water that is recommended to drink for the day.
The amount of water recommended is determined by your weight. To make this even more accurate, adjustments like the weather conditions and if any sports activities was carried out that day can be made to be added into considerations.
Water
2. Interesting and effective in-app components
This application contains many interesting and effective features and I will share 3 of them. To find out more you can download it at the Playstore or you can just click the link below.
• The Cup Size!
Parents, doctors, teachers and friends always remind us to “drink 8 glasses of water per day”. I’m sure that a lot of us have at least heard that line at least once in our life! Have you ever wondered “What is the size of the glass they are referring to?”
Research states that a human being needs to consume at least 2 liters of water per day. Well, clearly 8 small glasses of water are not equivalent to 2 liters. Water Your Body App Developer has put this into considerations and decided to add the cup size feature as shown in the screenshot below.
Size
• Alarm Reminder!
It is definitely a must for apps that remind the users to do a task to have their own alarm. Water your Body has a unique reminder of its own and is great to have for those that is too busy in their daily life.
There are two types of reminder you can pick from as seen from the screenshot below. You can either set an auto reminder which will trigger at intervals according to your configuration or you can manually set the reminder time yourself.
One of the bonus function this feature has is that it give users the option to enable the Less disturb option which will set the app’s reminder to only remind the user to drink water if he/she has fallen behind schedule.
Reminder
• Water and Weight Chart!
Water your Body also has 2 different charts. The water and weight chart.
The water chart in the app allows the user to track their drinking habits. It is very useful for users that are particularly concern about their daily water intake. It can even track your water intake up to a year! As a bonus, the chart also shows the user the average amount of water consumed per day after 7 days.
The weight chart tracks the weight loss of the user each day. However, the user will have to update his/her weight manually each day for the chart to take effect.
Weight
3. Conclusion
Water your Body is a great app to have for those that want to take serious care of their daily water intake. However, it takes a high level of discipline for the user to consistently update each time he/she drank water or when there’s a change of their body weight at the end of the day.
I give this app a 4 star for its user friendliness and for having useful functions that help the user to manage and monitor their water intake with precision and accuracy. "Wah! What an App!" Thank you NorthPark.Android for developing this app!

3 Nokia-like games available in the Android Playstore

Hello readers! Thank you for visiting my blog. Today I am going to share with you 3 game apps that will certainly give you the feeling of nostalgia when you play it.
If you are born in the 90s, remember those times when you will ask your siblings or parents for their phones so that you can play games like snake in their Nokia phones? Or when your parents told you that if you finish your homework, they will let you play their mobile phone games? Well, I certainly do. Each time I play these games, I get the feeling of nostalgia which makes me extremely happy. So let’s start with the list!
1) Snake
The classic Snake! This game is continuously played even in today’s generation! Basically the gameplay is that the player maneuvers a line which grows in length as you hit the small object, with the line itself being a primary obstacle. The best app that depicts this would be the Snake 2k. It even has a Nokia phone in the background! Thank you dsd 164 for developing this app!

2) Space Impact
Out of all the Nokia Games, this is my all time favourite! Space Impact is a very popular game in the 2000s for us boys. Well as you all know, we boys love space craft that shoots bullets and fire lasers! For this case, I find that the app, Space Defense, is the closest there is to the classic Space Impact. The gameplay revolves around a space craft destroying the enemy ships and picking up power ups along the way and at the end of each level there will be a boss for the player to defeat. “Wah! What a game!” Here’s a screenshot of the app and thank you ByQ Develop for developing this app!

3) Bounce
Oh yes! This game, is very challenging for me when I was a kid at that point of time. Usually I need my brother’s help to clear the stages for me :) Basically the gameplay is that the player controls a ball and is required to get to the end point with objects as obstacles along the way. I recommend this app, Bounce Original, for those that wish to play it again. Thank you 35cm Games for developing this game!

Android Educational Game App

Android applications available in the market today cater to users of all age groups. A key group in this market would be parents. A smartphone is no longer a rarity. Parents are increasingly technologically savvy and children, young or old, are extremely taken by this box of magic. In view of this, I will review pescAPPs’s Kids Educational Game 3.
I will review this application based on 3 criteria:
1. User friendliness
This application is extremely user-friendly. As the screen loads up, the home screen shows the 12 different kind of games and its’ picture clearly dictates what game is it. Furthermore, there are no unnecessary images in each game thus giving the user that use the app a better focus on the game and prevent children from getting distracted off the task.
2. Interesting in-app components
The application boasts 12 in-app games for the child to explore. Not only are these games fun and interactive, they are also educational. In view of not being too long-winded, I will share on 3 of the games I found to be most interesting.
• Spelling!
spelling
This game reinforces a child’s learning while engaging them with interactive features such as the “drag and drop”, striking colors and cute pictures relevant to the word being spelled. This is a good practice for toddlers, best suited for the age of 2-5, as they discover new words.  An additional feature parents may appreciate is that the game also provides the pronunciation of the word spelt.
• Drag the correct Shapes!
Shape
Parents with younger children may not find the spelling game to be of a suitable difficulty level. Hence, this game may be a better alternative. It engages the child with pictures and shapes and is best suited to for toddlers aged 1 to 3. Similarly, it also has a drag and drop feature for the shapes and thus making it interactive.
• Oh the good old classic Picture card memory!
Memory
I still remember the time when I used to play this game using the cards from the Donkey card game. Children in this generation are lucky to have this as an app. This game allows them to build up their memory and train their level of focus.  Furthermore, I feel that it is suitable for users of all age groups as there are 4 levels of difficulty for you to select (The 2x4, 3x4, 4x5 and 4x7).
3. Holistic experience
As a whole, the games on this application are highly educational and promote positive learning. Key features of the games that promote positive learning are 1) encouraging animations 2) colorful and attractive interface. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring this application.
• Give a sense of accomplishment
You win
For most of the games, example the spelling game, there will be a clapping sound each time the user get a correct answer and after completing it, a “You Win” animation will appear and thus giving the user a sense of accomplishment.
• The interface is very attractive and colorful
home
Children love colorful pictures and animations. Colors are one of the things babies learn first after being born! The cartoon images are funny looking characters that can catch the children’s eye.  For children, they are the opposite of adults. They prefer design than gameplay.
4. Conclusion
Kids Educational Game 3 is the perfect app for preschoolers. It contains a great combination of games into one app. It’s an app to learn, to play and also practice on. "Wah! What a game!". I give it a 4 stars for the app’s attractive interface, design and gameplay. There are a lot more things from the app that I did not discuss. To know more install it and be amazed!
